Data Center Campus
Iron Mountain's Richmond campus covers 66 acres in White Oak Technology Park, Henrico County, along Elko Road next to the Bank of America data center on Technology Creek Drive. Iron Mountain bought the land in November 2024 for just over $8 million.
The master plan calls for four buildings, RCH-1 through RCH-4, with more than 1.1 million sq ft and 14+ data halls. The campus is designed to BREEAM standards with a 100% renewable power purchase agreement, carrier- and cloud-neutral interconnection with redundant meet-me rooms, and Iron Mountain's federal compliance program (NIST 800-53, FISMA High, FedRAMP, SOC 2 Type II). Iron Mountain markets it to hyperscale, enterprise and federal tenants as an AI-ready campus close to Data Center Alley.
