Equinix's fifth data center in Ireland opened in Q4 2022, located in the former Clyde House in Blanchardstown. The facility, known as DB5x, is part of a planned three-building campus that also includes DB6x and DB7x. Equinix submitted the initial planning application for this campus in 2020.
