Planned
Echelon Data Centres' Kilmeaden campus is a planned data center complex on a 108-hectare (267-acre) former cheese-factory site at Amberhill Road, Kilmeaden, County Waterford, Ireland.
- Plan: demolish the existing structures and build three two-storey data centers, an energy centre, a battery storage facility, a solar farm, two offices, a gas above-ground installation, a village centre and a dedicated rewilding area.
- Status: residents lodged hundreds of objections and held protests in October 2026; a planning decision from Waterford City and County Council was due in October 2026.
