RE+ Southeast is an annual regional clean energy conference and exhibition organized by the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA) through RE+ Events. The 2027 edition convenes May 11 to 12, 2027, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. The gathering brings together more than 1,000 clean energy and power professionals alongside more than 85 exhibiting companies across solar power generation, battery energy storage systems, microgrids, and electrical grid infrastructure.
The conference serves as a business and technical forum for the Southeastern United States, where accelerated data center construction and large-scale industrial electrification require substantial additions of utility-scale solar generation, dispatchable energy storage, and expanded grid interconnection capacity.
Programming Focus
- Utility-scale solar power development and transmission integration across Southeastern power markets
- Battery energy storage system (BESS) deployment, safety standards, and grid reliability services
- Interconnection queue navigation and transmission planning with regional utilities
- Onsite power generation, microgrids, and backup power configurations for high-density data centers
- Corporate clean energy procurement strategies and direct power purchase agreements
- State regulatory frameworks, utility commission policies, and clean energy economic development across Georgia, the Carolinas, Tennessee, and the Gulf Coast
