Amazon: Warrenton, VA

Year Planned: 2027
Lot Size: 42 acres

Amazon Web Services' plans to build a 220,000-square-foot data center at the intersection of Blackwell Road and Lee Highway in Warrenton.

  • In April 2024, Warrenton town staff approved the site development plan for Amazon's proposed 220,000-square-foot data center campus.
  • The 42 acre parcel located at 719 Blackwell Road, slated for a data center campus, was purchased by Amazon Web Services, Inc. in September 2021 for nearly $40 million.

  • Fauquier County and 10 local residents have filed a lawsuit in the Fauquier Circuit Court to try to stop an Amazon data center in Warrenton, Northern Virginia.
